Pastor Adam W. Jones

Pastor Jones accepted the call to shepherd the Harvest Baptist Church on August 24, 2008. He and the family made the move on September 23rd to the Wausau area. His burden for the city of Wausau is that they might hear the "good news" of Jesus Christ, and experience the transforming work of God's grace in their lives. Pastor Jones' concern is that Christ be known and is careful to preach the unadjusted Gospel, namely Christ crucified, buried, and resurrected for the sins of men and their justification. The emphasis of his preaching is to express the Sovereignty of God in all things, to show the transcendency of God as creator, and to make known the chief end of man, which is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. He works hard to correctly exegete his sermons, as well as see to it that they are expository in nature, and extemporaneous in their presentation. He previously served as an assistant in ministries in Illinois and Michigan. Pastor Jones' formal education includes a B.A. in Biblical Studies and He is currently working on a M. Div. and M.Th. degree.
